Crude oil settles firmly higher, keeping weakness broad

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.5%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.8%), and DJIA (-0.7%) remain little changed from previous levels as the market enters the final hour of the session.
Crude oil futures settled today's session $4.59 higher (+4.5%) at $105.82 per barrel, which FactSet reports is the tenth gain for WTI crude in the past 11 sessions.
Weakness remains broad late in the afternoon as investors look ahead to tomorrow's FOMC meeting.
