[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages continue to trade in a relatively stable range.
Software names continue to outperform, with the iShares GS Software ETF (IGV 102.37, +2.95, +2.97%) firmly higher. Cloudflare (NET 304.48, +20.06, +7.05%)is a standout after earnings, while Palantir Technologies (PLTR 170.45, +14.53, +9.32%) soars higher again to add to impressive gains from earlier in the week. Yesterday's post-earnings laggards, Datadog (DDOG 235.20, +5.91, +2.58%) and AppLovin (APP 345.37, +9.70, +2.89%), are also taking back a chunk of their previous weakness.
