Nonfarm private payrolls increased by 30,000 (Briefing.com consensus 69,000), from a downwardly revised prior increase of 30,000 (from 49,000).
The unemployment rate decreased to 4.1% (Briefing.com consensus 4.2%), from the previous level of 4.2%.
Average hourly earnings increased by 0.1% (Briefing.com consensus 0.3%), following a prior increase of 0.3%.
The average workweek remained unchanged at 34.3 hours (Briefing.com consensus 34.3).
