The apparel retailer beat expectations on both the top and bottom lines, with results encouraging even beyond a sizable tariff-refund benefit as underlying operating performance also exceeded expectations. Peers such as Urban Outfitters (URBN 78.97, +3.19, +4.21%) and American Eagle (AEO 17.40, +0.66, +3.97%) trade higher as well, and the State Street SPDR S&P Retail ETF is up 0.9%.
