[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-1.1%), Nasdaq Composite (-1.4%), and DJIA (-1.7%) continue to chart session lows, dragging them into negative week-to-date territory.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (-1.3%) is firmly lower ahead of a consequential afternoon for mega-cap stocks on both the macro and earnings fronts.
Meta Platforms (META 590.09, -3.32, -0.56%) and Microsoft (MSFT 395.27, +1.92, +0.49%) are little changed ahead of their results after the close, while NVIDIA (NVDA 191.55, -5.46, -2.77%) is a laggard amid the weakness in semiconductor names and Tesla (TSLA 300.92, -6.52, -2.12%) continues to face pressure after its own earnings report last week.
