[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.4%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.1%), and DJIA (+1.2%) remain mostly higher as the market enters the final hour of the session.
Reuters reported that Oman presented Iran with a plan for voluntary fees in the Strait of Hormuz that has the support of Gulf states. A separate Reuters report said that China had direct discussions with the Houthis to allow ships to transit through the Red Sea.
Crude oil futures settled today's session $3.33 lower (-4.0%) at $79.32 per barrel.
