[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (flat), Nasdaq Composite (-0.2%), and DJIA (+0.4%) continue to trade in a tight range as the market enters the final hour of the session.
Bloomberg reports that President Trump told reporters there is a "good chance" of a deal with Iran, and crude oil futures settled today's session $6.69 lower (-7.5%) at $82.65 per barrel.
Not much has changed at the sector level this afternoon as strength remains relatively broad. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (-2.9%) is off its worst levels of the session, but weakness across chipmakers continues to put some pressure on the major averages.
