Market is Closed
[BRIEFING.COM] S&P futures vs fair value: -38.00. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: -319.00.

The stock market remains on track for a lower open this morning as semiconductor stocks largely move lower after yesterday's rally.

There are, however, quite a few AI-related headlines crossing the wires just before the open.

The Wall Street Journal reports that OpenAI is set to increase its planned cloud spending to $750 billion from its prior projection of $600 billion.

Additionally, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD 530.00, -14.43, -2.7%) and Anthropic announced a partnership, with Anthropic planning to deploy up to 2 gigawatts of AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs in AMD Helios rack-scale systems, with the first gigawatt slated to begin in 1H27. The companies also launched a multi-year engineering collaboration to optimize Claude workloads for AMD Instinct GPUs and accelerate ROCm development, while AMD will adopt Claude across engineering and product teams. AMD said it has committed to make a strategic equity investment of up to $5 billion in Anthropic in the future.
