Advanced Micro Devices (AMD 558.06, +13.63, +2.50%) is one of several large chipmaker names that quickly reversed an opening loss this morning. The company trades higher after announcing a strategic partnership with Anthropic, which includes a planned deployment of up to 2 gigawatts of AMD's next-generation Instinct MI450 GPUs and a potential strategic equity investment of up to $5 billion from AMD.
