S&P 500 Advances as Corning, Axon, and CrowdStrike Lead Gains; Copart Slips on CEO Transition News
Dow +350.91 at 52227.02, Nasdaq +450.86 at 25769.47, S&P +78.59 at 7432.61

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+1.07%) is in second place on Monday afternoon, up about 79 points.

Briefly, S&P 500 constituents Corning (GLW 251.37, +30.32, +13.72%), Axon (AXON 504.00, +39.17, +8.43%), and CrowdStrike (CRWD 743.87, +42.78, +6.10%) pepper the top of the standings. GLW and AXON rise despite a dearth of corporate news, while CRWD bucks a morning downgrade to Neutral out of Arete.

Meanwhile, Copart (CPRT 28.59, -1.96, -6.42%) is among today's worst laggards after announcing CEO Jeff Liaw will step down in 2026, with Executive Chairman and former CEO Jay Adair set to return to the role.
