[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are little changed from previous levels at midday.
The health care sector (-0.9%) is the worst-performing S&P 500 sector, currently the only one that holds a loss wider than 1.0%. Weakness is relatively broad, while Mettler-Toledo (MTD 1150.27, -169.02, -12.81%) moves sharply lower after beating EPS expectations, but reporting in-line revenues and issuing downside Q2 guidance.
Meanwhile, Moderna (MRNA 54.49, +5.95, +12.25%) is sharply higher, with the move attributed to a report that scientists are working on a hantavirus vaccine, according to NBC News.
