[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.6%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.5%), and DJIA (+0.8%) are little changed from previous levels as the market enters the final hour of the session.
Crude oil futures settled today's session $0.47 higher (+0.5%) at $96.75 per barrel. Today's action included more unconfirmed reports of progressing talks between the U.S. and Iran, but little in the way of material developments heading into the long weekend.
Optimism around a potential end to the conflict saw WTI crude retreat roughly 8% for the week.
