S&P 500 Gains Led by Sandisk Surge on Price Target Boost, PG&E Lags

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.45%) is in second place on Monday afternoon, up about 30 points.

Briefly, S&P 500 constituents Albemarle (ALB 184.66, +11.02, +6.35%), Sandisk (SNDK 928.14, +76.37, +8.97%), and Gartner (IT 152.93, +9.21, +6.41%) pepper the top of the standings. SNDK rises today amid a target raise out of Jefferies to $1,000 (from $700) as well as news that the company will join the ranks of the Nasdaq-100 on April 20.

Meanwhile, PG&E (PCG 17.41, -1.13, -6.09%) is near the bottom of the average despite a dearth of corporate news.
