Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are steadily charting session highs as the market enters the final half hour of the session.

Citigroup (C 125.84, +1.46, +1.17%), Wells Fargo (WFC 86.23, +0.83, +0.97%), and JPMorgan Chase (JPM 312.12, +2.26, +0.73%) all trade higher ahead of their earnings releases tomorrow morning.

While gains across semiconductor stocks are relatively modest in comparison to those across the software space, Sandisk (SNDK 945.14, +93.37, +10.96%) is still one of the best-performing S&P 500 components today after reports that it will be added to the Nasdaq 100 Index effective April 20, 2026, replacing Atlassian (TEAM 60.71, +3.56, +6.22%).
