Strength broadens as market attempts to look past Iran conflict
Dow +121.59 at 49098.40, Nasdaq +18.65 at 22686.88, S&P +17.21 at 6898.08

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.3%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.5%), and DJIA (+0.1%) now trade higher across the board as the market enters the final hour of the session.

In addition to the energy (+1.8%), industrials (+1.2%), and information technology (+1.0%) sectors, which have traded with solid gains throughout the day, the real estate (+0.4%) and financials (+0.2%) sectors now also trade higher.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM 299.18, -1.12, -0.37%) CEO Jamie Dimon told CNBC that if the Iran conflict is not prolonged, there's not going to be a major inflationary impact. While only time will tell if that is the case, the market has leaned cautiously optimistic today as the major averages shed their opening losses for modest gains.
