Asset managers once again under pressure
Dow -509.76 at 47195.64, Nasdaq -59.33 at 22637.79, S&P -31.01 at 6752.46

[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages continue to chart session lows at midday. 

The financials sector (-1.4%) is now the worst-performing S&P 500 sector, with asset manager names such as Ares Management (ARES 102.16, -6.52, -6.00%) and Apollo Global Management (APO 103.68, -4.49, -4.15%) once again under pressure. Financial Times reported that JPMorgan Chase (JPM 285.29, -3.44, -1.19%) has marked down the value of some private credit group loan portfolios.
