[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.3%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.4%), and DJIA (-0.6%) are at their best levels of the session as Treasury yields retreat following today's strong 10-year note reopening.
The auction drew a high yield of 5.300%, stopping through the when-issued yield by nearly two basis points, while the bid-to-cover ratio (2.77x vs. 2.51x average) and indirect takedown (80.3% vs. 70.3% average) were both well above average.
The results sparked buying across the Treasury complex, leaving the 10-year note yield up just one basis point at 5.28% after reaching 5.36% this morning.
