[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.3%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.3%), and DJIA (-0.7%) are little changed from previous levels with just half an hour left in the session. Though today's session has been the toughest for stocks so far this week, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite remain more than 1.0% higher on a week-to-date basis, while the DJIA is flat for the week.

On the earnings front, Levi Strauss (LEVI 19.69, -0.84, -4.09%) is selling off sharply ahead of its Q3 earnings report after today's close, with investors looking for evidence that denim demand and its direct-to-consumer strategy can sustain growth despite a pressured consumer backdrop.

Meanwhile, PepsiCo (PEP 124.06, -1.65, -1.31%) is heading into its Q3 report tomorrow with shares trading at new 52-week lows, reflecting continued concerns around the pace of its North America turnaround and a more cautious view of the remainder of the year. The report should provide an important update on whether its recent affordability, portfolio and productivity initiatives are helping stabilize the business, while the durability of international strength and the FY26 outlook will also remain in focus.
