[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.3%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.1%) remain modestly higher while the DJIA (+0.9%) maintains a more substantial gain.
Mega-cap stocks continue to trade mixed, keeping the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (-0.1%) near its flat line.
The ETF opened firmly lower amid early weakness in semiconductor stocks before staging a sizable recovery into positive territory. It has since surrendered those gains and settled into a relatively narrow trading range. Apple (AAPL 340.72, -2.22, -0.65%) is a relative laggard among mega-caps after Loop Capital downgraded it from Buy to Hold with a $330 price target.
