American Express (AXP 346.32, -12.18, -3.40%) and Visa (V 323.30, -8.26, -2.49%) are among the names that put pressure on the DJIA today.
American Express reported a slight EPS miss and issued in-line guidance, while Visa slides depite topping earnigns estimates. The financials sector (-0.8%) is down again today as the sector is poised to close as January's worst-performing S&P 500 sector, currently holding a 3.1% month-to-date loss.
