Stock Market Update

The stock market is on track for a lower opening this morning, with mega-cap and tech names on track for some consolidation after a strong session yesterday. Price action among the mega-caps will be watched closely by the market in the coming sessions ahead of a ramp in big tech earnings next week. 

The major averages all sit above their 50-day moving averages, but the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite enter today's session with modest week-to-date losses.
