Dow Slides 361 Points as GS, CAT, AXP Weigh; MSFT Rallies, Week Set to End Lower

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.73%) is in last place on Friday afternoon, down 361 points.

A look inside the DJIA shows that Goldman Sachs (GS 918.54, -36.11, -3.78%), Caterpillar (CAT 626.80, -21.61, -3.33%), and American Express (AXP 359.00, -9.02, -2.45%) host solid losses.

Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT 470.81, +19.67, +4.36%) is nicely higher.

The DJIA is poised to end the week -0.68% lower.

Also, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 54.45, -0.01, -0.02%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 544, +1 w/w and -32 yr/yr.
