Futures point to modestly higher open

The stock market is on track for a modestly higher start as the S&P 500 futures currently trade ten points above fair value.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in a Fox Business interview that he is currently conducting interviews for the 11 Fed Chair candidates, with an expectation to present 3-4 strong candidates to President Trump later this year.
Mr. Bessent also noted that the Treasury is moving forward with Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FMCC) IPOs, with an announcement expected in a few months.
