Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.1%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.2%), and DJIA (flat) trade in a relatively stable range as the session approaches midday. 

President Trump announced via Truth Social that his call with Chinese President Xi was productive, noting, "Appreciate the TikTok approval." President Trump also said he will meet with President Xi at APEC & travel to China early next year. 

CNBC reports a White House official stated that significant progress was made on the TikTok deal.

Oracle (ORCL 302.30, +5.68, +1.91%), which is reported to be part of the consortium that will control the U.S. TikTok business, now trades higher after an earlier loss.
