[BRIEFING.COM] The DJIA (+0.6%) has shaken off some of its early sluggishness, eclipsing yesterday's all-time high level as a result.
Concurrently, the S&P 500 (+0.8%) and Nasdaq Composite (+1.2%) extend their reach into record territory as today's gains broaden beyond big-tech names.
Nine S&P 500 sectors now hold gains, with only the defensive consumer staples (-0.6%) and materials (-0.2%) sectors trading lower.
Digital cryptocurrency exchange Bullish (BLSH 58.72, +4.37, +8.04%) trades higher today after reporting its first earnings results since its IPO, in which the company beat revenue expectations. The stock also benefits from the company receiving a BitLicense and Money Transmission License from the New York State Department of Financial Services yesterday evening.
Shares of Coinbase Global (COIN 335.33, +14.77, +4.61%) are up in response, leading all names in the financials sector (+0.7%), which is among the top-performing S&P 500 sectors so far.
