Dow slips 180 points as Cisco, Merck, Nike lag; Microsoft gains, weekly rise nears +1.2%

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.39%) is down 180 points this afternoon.

A look inside the DJIA shows that Cisco (CSCO 66.18, -1.50, -2.22%), Merck (MRK 83.42, -1.73, -2.03%), and Nike (NKE 72.88, -1.45, -1.95%) are underperforming.

Meanwhile, Microsoft (MSFT 511.87, +10.86, +2.17%) is today's top gain getter.

The DJIA is poised to trim weekly gains to about +1.16%.

Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 46.65, -0.32, -0.68%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 539, +2 w/w and -51 yr/yr.
