[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.56%) is down more than 250 points, the only major average in the red this afternoon.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Apple (AAPL 226.69, -7.66, -3.27%), Amazon (AMZN 231.42, -6.82, -2.86%), and Salesforce (CRM 245.37, -6.69, -2.65%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, NVIDIA (NVDA 177.89, +7.13, +4.18%) is today's top gain getter.
The DJIA is now +0.12% higher this week.
Elsewhere, U.S. Treasuries have continued today's rebound off opening lows with a recent extension to fresh highs that followed the completion of an impressive $39 bln 10-yr note reopening. The stellar sale drew a high yield of 4.033%, which stopped through the when-issued yield by 1.3 basis points while the bid-to-cover ratio (2.65x vs 2.55x average) and indirect takedown (83.1% vs 69.5% average) were well above average. This follows yesterday's strong 3-yr note offering with the market encouraged by renewed strength in foreign demand.
