[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.09%) is almost 40 points higher this afternoon, leading the major averages.
A look inside the DJIA shows that JPMorgan Chase (JPM 290.30, -3.96, -1.35%), NVIDIA (NVDA 177.66, -2.34, -1.30%), and Cisco (CSCO 67.83, -0.66, -0.96%) are some of today's top laggards.
Meanwhile, UnitedHealth (UNH 251.56, +10.58, +4.39%) is atop the standings.
The DJIA is now +0.2% month-to-date.
Elsewhere, the 3-yr note auction wasn't so great. The high yield of 3.669% tailed the when-issued yield of 3.662% by 0.7 basis points; meanwhile, there was weak interest among indirect bidders, as they accounted for 54% of total competitive bids versus the prior 12-auction average of 65.7%. There hasn't been much reaction in the Treasury market to the results, which precede tomorrow's $42 billion 10-yr note auction. Similarly, the stock market has had a muted response to the auction results.
