[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.28%) is the only major average in positive territory on Friday afternoon.
A look inside the DJIA shows that UnitedHealth (UNH 309.86, +38.37, +14.13%), Amgen (AMGN 296.15, +5.86, +2.02%), and Merck (MRK 84.35, +1.59, +1.92%) are some of today's top performers.
Meanwhile, Cisco (CSCO 66.13, -3.17, -4.57%) is underperforming.
The DJIA is poised to end the week +1.95% higher.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 43.33, +0.08, +0.18%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 539, flat w/w and -47 yr/yr.
