Stock Market Update

The stock market is poised for a higher opening the S&P 500 futures trading 16 points above fair value.

The market looks to shake its sluggish start to the week as tariff announcements have motivated some profit taking off of last week's record highs. 

Yesterday's market saw an outperformance in small-cap and mid-cap stocks while mega-caps underperformed. There are some notable mega-cap movers in today's market though, as Microsoft (MSFT 499.75, +3.13, +0.7%) was upgraded to outperform from perform at Oppenheimer.

Treasuries are up slightly with the 10-year note yield down two basis points to 4.40%.
