Equity futures tick slightly higher

Equity futures continue to tick slightly higher, with the S&P 500 futures currently trading 15 points above fair value.
At 7:00 ET, the market received the MBA Mortgage Applications Index for the week of July 5, which increased to 9.4%, from a prior 2.7%.
Wholesale Inventories will be released at 10:00 ET, followed by EIA Crude Oil Inventories at 10:30 ET.
FOMC minutes for the June 17-18 meeting will be released at 14:00 ET.
In additional Fed news, The Wall Street Journal reports that Kevin Hassett is a contender to replace Jerome Powell as Fed Chairman next year following the conclusion of his term.
