[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are back in positive territory, with the Nasdaq Composite (+0.5%) leading the S&P 500 (+0.2%) and the DJIA (+0.1%).
The communication services sector (+0.6%) is among the day's top-performing S&P 500 sectors. All but two of its components trade in positive territory, helping the sector reverse a 0.3% loss yesterday.
Electronic Arts (EA 158.66, +10.87, +7.4%) is the top advancer in the sector after the company beat EPS expectations by $0.22 and reported a beat on revenues.
Meanwhile, Meta Platforms (META 700.78, +0.78, +0.1%) trades just slightly higher ahead of its earnings report after the close.
