Boeing (BA 227.65, -8.76, -3.71%) faces some sell-the-news pressure after beating EPS expectations by $0.16 and reporting increased revenues after seeing increased production rates for its 737 and 787 programs.
Merck (MRK 80.80, -3.26, -3.88%) also faces selling pressure despite an earnings beat of $0.11, in-line revenues, and above-consensus FY25 EPS guidance.
Meanwhile, UnitedHealth (UNH 267.37, -14.75, -5.23%) trades lower today after missing EPS expectations by $0.40 and reporting revenues in-line. The company also guided FY25 EPS and revenues below consensus.
The latter two companies exacerbate losses in the health care sector (-0.5%) today, which is among the laggards.
