Chipmakers are once again facing pressure after Texas Instruments (TXN 190.20, -24.72, -11.5%) beat Q2 EPS expectations, but management spoke in a more cautious tone on the earnings call last night.
The PHLX Semiconductor Index is down 0.8% today, with a current week-to-date loss of 2.5%.
