[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.1%) remains trapped just below its flat line with six sectors trading lower.
The communication services (-0.9%) sector sits at the bottom of today's leaderboard due to weakness in its top components Alphabet (GOOG 170.35, -3.63, -2.09%) and Meta Platforms (META 689.30, -6.47, -0.93%) while health care (-0.5%) also lags, continuing this week's underperformance (-2.7% week-to-date). Top component Eli Lilly (LLY 761.19, -23.84, -3.04%) is also playing a big part in the sector's underperformance today, as it falls to a two-week low, while more than half of the remaining sector components trade in the green.
Treasuries have continued building on their early rebound off lows with the 10-yr yield now down two basis points at 4.38%.
