[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market is off to a solid start with the S&P 500 (+1.1%) trading a bit behind the Nasdaq (+1.4%).
Ten out of eleven sectors trade higher to begin the day with four groups up 1.0% or more, led by technology (+1.3%), financials (+1.3%), and communication services (+1.0%) while the energy sector (-0.6%) is the only group trading in the red after outperforming on Friday.
Treasuries started the day in the red before turning positive. However, the early range has been narrow, leaving the 10-yr yield down one basis point at 4.41%.
