There are five S&P 500 sectors trading up, none more than 0.8% (energy), and six sectors trading down, none more than 0.4% (communication services).
The equal-weighted S&P 500, perhaps, is the best gauge of the lack of conviction. The cash market has been trading for nearly three hours, and the equal-weighted S&P 500 is down 0.03%.
