[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+1.60%) is today's shallowest-gaining major average, illustrating the voracity of today's rally.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Nike (NKE 62.49, +2.47, +4.12%), NVIDIA (NVDA 135.49, +4.20, +3.20%), and Goldman Sachs (GS 616.50, +17.96, +3.00%) are some of today's top gain getters.
Meanwhile, UnitedHealth (UNH 291.67, -3.90, -1.32%) is underperforming.
The DJIA is on pace to end the month +3.93% higher.
Elsewhere, the 2-yr note auction saw the high yield of 3.955% stop through the when-issued yield of 3.965% by one basis point. Dollar demand was lighter than average, as was indirect bidder interest. Nonetheless, the Treasury market has kept a fairly steady heading in the wake of the auction, along with the stock market, both of which continue to track near their best levels of the session. There is a $70 billion 5-yr note auction on Wednesday.
