[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.1%) has inched back above its unchanged level as it fights to resist pressure from losses in most sectors.
Market breadth at NYSE remains deeply negative with more than two listings trading lower for each advancer while Nasdaq is closer to being in balance, though decliners are also outpacing advancers there, but only by a slight margin.
Like stocks, Treasuries have seen limited movement in recent trade, though they are on their highs, so a push above those levels could be seen as encouraging by the stock market. The 10-yr yield is down two basis points at 4.58% while the 30-yr yield is back to unchanged at 5.09%.
