[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are continuing their bounce off opening lows with the S&P 500 now down just 0.4%.

The benchmark index has already recovered nearly 50 points with two sectors—financials (+0.1%) and industrials (+0.1%)—turning positive in recent action. Meanwhile, top-weighted technology (-0.2%) remains in the red, but it too has been rising off its early low. Heavyweights Microsoft (MSFT 456.46, +2.19, +0.5%) and NVIDIA (NVDA 135.64, +0.24, +0.2%) have contributed to the early bounce while Apple (AAPL 206.90, -4.36, -2.1%) remains among the early laggards.

Treasuries have climbed off their opening lows but the 10-yr yield is still up seven basis points at 4.51%.
