Outsized moves in some mega caps have boosted the major equity indices. NVIDIA (NVDA 129.11, +6.10, +5.0%), Amazon (AMZN 214.16, +5.48, +2.7%), and Meta Platforms (META 653.65, +14.39, +2.2%) are standouts in that respect.
Chipmakers are also outperforming the broader equity market. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is 2.1% higher today.
