The S&P 500 communication services sector has moved into positive territory, showing a 0.2% gain. Meta Platforms (META 510.21, +5.74, +1.1%) has boosted the sector's performance while the remaining ten sectors trade more than 1.0% lower.
The real estate (-2.4%), materials (-2.3%), and energy (-2.3%) sectors show the biggest declines.
