[BRIEFING.COM] There's been major volatility over the last half hour. Stocks surged and Treasury yields made a sharp turn lower over the last half hour before reversing course again. There's chatter about President Trump considering a 90 day pause in tariffs, except for China, but reports are unconfirmed.
The S&P 500 trades around its flat line and the Nasdaq Composite is surging 4.3%.
There may be some technical moves in play as the bounced off session lows after the S&P 500 entered bear market territory (i.e. 20% drop from recent peak).
