Durable goods orders rose 9.2% in March (Briefing.com consensus 1.5%) and durable goods orders, excluding transportation, was unchanged in March (Briefing.com consensus 0.3%).
Weekly initial jobless claims totaled 222,000 (Briefing.com consensus 220,000) and continuing claims came in at 1.841 million.
The S&P 500 futures are down three points and are trading 0.1% below fair value, the Nasdaq 100 futures are up 19 points and are trading 0.2% above fair value, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 151 points and are trading 0.4% below fair value.
