Mega caps and tech stocks have an outsized impact on major indices, but many stocks are participating in downside moves. The market-cap weighted S&P 500 trades 2.1% lower and the equal-weighted S&P 500 trades 1.6% lower.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) trades 2.9% lower.
