Eight of the 11 S&P 500 sectors are higher led by energy (+3.0%) by a wide margin. The consumer staples (+1.8%) and real estate (+1.7%) sectors are the next best performers.
The energy sector is responding to a big move in oil. WTI crude oil futures are 2.7% higher at $63.50/bbl.
