Dow sinks over 430 points led by Amgen, Amazon, and Salesforce; Boeing bucks trend with 4% gain

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-1.10%) is firmly lower this afternoon, down more than 430 points.

A look inside the DJIA shows that Amgen (AMGN 276.12, -6.52, -2.31%), Amazon (AMZN 173.09, -1.24, -0.71%), and Salesforce (CRM 248.58, -1.26, -0.50%) are underperforming.

Meanwhile, Boeing (BA 162.75, +6.28, +4.01%) is atop the standings.

The DJIA is poised to end the holiday-shortened week down -2.43%.

Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 39.17, +1.04, +2.73%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 585, +2 w/w and -34 yr/yr.
