[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices turned lower over the last half hour. The S&P 500 trades about 15 points higher now.
The downside move coincided with Apple (AAPL 201.29, -1.23, -0.6%), Amazon.com (AMZN 180.50, -1.64, -0.9%), Meta Platforms (META 530.32, -1.15, -0.2%), and Alphabet (GOOG 160.19, -1.31, -0.8%) turning negative.
Many stocks are still higher, leading the equal-weighted S&P 500 to trade 0.2% above its prior close.
