[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 shows a 3.2% decline and the Nasdaq Composite is 3.8% lower, clipped by losses in chipmakers and mega caps.
NVIDIA (NVDA 109.32, -5.09, -4.5%), Tesla (TSLA 252.65, -19.55, -7.2%), and Apple (AAPL 189.91, -8.82, -4.4%) all logged double-digit percentage gains yesterday.
Selling efforts today haven't totally eliminated yesterday's rally despite some big declines. The S&P 500 is still about 300 points higher than Tuesday's close.
