[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-1.5%) and Nasdaq Composite (-2.0%) trade near their worst levels of the session.
The downturn coincided with Apple (AAPL 235.17, -0.62, -0.3%) shares turning lower after an initial gain. Shares were trading 0.9% higher at their best level today.
Market participants are also weighing more headlines regarding tariffs after President Trump said Mexico will not be required to pay tariffs on anything that falls under the USMCA agreement until April 2.
Treasuries didn't react much to the news. The 10-yr yield is at 4.31% and the 2-yr yield is at 3.99%.
